Moths and Dragonflies 06 September 2008 Venue: Woods Mill, Henfield Moths are trapped the previous night and the following morning placed on suitable backgrounds or perches to photograph naturally. Hopefully we can catch some brightly coloured specimens but also other more ingeniously camouflaged insects make for fantastic images. Macro lens or extension tubes recommended but a longer zoom may suffice. Time is also spent pursuing the dragonflies around the lake and wet meadow - darters and migrant hawkers are very likely. Guidelines and terms Courses operate on a minimum of four people. Price indicated is per person. To confirm a booking payment must be received within five days. Once booked and confirmed, no refunds will be possible within one month of the respective course date. An information sheet will be emailed closer to the course date, this may be updated to cater for changes in the conditions at the site or the species' behaviour. Please be aware that although a lot of care will have been taken to find subjects prior to each respective course there are, unfortunately, no guarantees with wildlife or with the weather. |
